We would like to thank all of you here at TrainzDev who have helped bring this new Service Pack to fruition and for you to know it could not be as complete as it is today without your input.

Service Pack 1 - an even bigger update

It is a month since Trainz went Live and today we're ready to make a huge update that will add to everyone's enjoyment of TS2009.

Following is a list of the fixes and improvementsmade in the past couple of months and you will see from the list that the Train team have been busy solving man of those annoying little things as well as adding some "coolness".

We almost achieved everything we wanted to with this update, but as always, time was against us. We will certainly be fixing the remaining known issues and also whatever new problems are idenditifed over the coming weeks.

Regarding applying this Service Pack, it is a small download (only 15MB). Simply download, save to your disk and click on the .exe. The patch itself takes a minute or so, then the database update takes a few minutes. Please be patient whilst this update occurs.

There are a few reports that once the patch is applied and you start Trainz again, the database needs to rebuilt. We expect most users will not need to do this and we decided that the two weeks of enjoyment you will get with SP1 will outweigh this slight inconvenience should it occur.

You can download Service Pack 1 here.

If you downloaded the Beta of SP1, you can upgrade from SP1 Beta Build 38004 here .

Here is the full list (with edited highlights to be dug out and posted elsewhere shortly).
